1950's Post-War development

The following years to second Great War are marked by the enormous losses suffered essentially in the Europe, resulting in a great economic recession and social contraction.

In this troubled times the company developed its activity to the construction of chassis for automobiles, as well as for trucks.

IETA was the first constructor of refrigerating vehicles in Portugal.

Its main customer (and partner) were J.J. Gonçalves, proprietor of the Austin Portugal, and that he was the main importer of vehicles for customizing.
